In Bahamut Lagoon, Sendak (a man) flirts with the player-character, Byuu (also a man). When this occurs, the player has the choice to accept these advances or to continue their pursuit of the princess. If the player accepts Sendak's advances, Sendak expresses happiness. This interaction is designed as humorous, but all romantic interaction in the game is presented in this fashion; continuing pursuit of the princess results in her leaving Sendak for somebody else halfway through the game regardless.
