Glory of Heracles features Leucos, one of the game's main characters, whose gender is ambiguous. Players have speculated that they are a transgender boy, and they call themselves a boy in the game, but other characters do not always refer to them as a boy and show confusion regarding the correct pronouns to use when addressing them. Sometimes this is used as a source of humour in the game.
