Hustle Cat has diverse representation of sexuality and gender, including the ability to choose nonbinary pronouns for the player-character. The player is able to choose from six portraits that are the same regardless of the pronouns chosen, and nobody treats you differently throughout the game or asks questions of gender. The producer, Jo Fu, was interviewed on FemHype about the game.
