In Otter of my Life the player is able to choose the gender of their character (male, female, nonbinary) separately to their pronouns (she/her, they/them, he/him). They are then able to pursue romances with a variety of otter characters who all respond to your character regardless of your gender. Your character will introduce themselves to everyone with their pronouns, but none of the other otters will reciprocate, making it something of an awkward situation.
