Episode

Left, a femme looking person standing in a spotlight holding a microphone. Text reads 'What song would you like to sing with me?' and choices read 'Cool for the summer' and 'Neon lights' and 'Let it go'. Text reads 'Become a superstar in Demi Lovato Path To Fame'. Middle, a femme looking person in a dressing room holding up two dresses. Text reads 'What should I wear?' and choices read 'Something elegant' and 'Something cute'. Text reads 'What is your winning look?'. Right, a masc looking person and femme looking person on a beach. Text reads 'Who do you save first?' and choices read 'Young woman drifting away' and 'Old man bleeding on beach'. Text reads 'Is this your wild adventure?'.
This is the broader app behind the Demi Lovato: Path to Fame story, and many other similar endeavors. There’s one about Mean Girls, one about a star I’ve never heard of (so probably a Youtuber) and some other ‘featured’ stories I haven’t tried.

Unlike Choices, which has main stories that feature queer content, from what I’ve experienced the queer content in Episode seems to largely come from the user-generated stories. They’re all of varying levels of quality/readability, but given there are hundreds of options, I’m sure there’s a story in here for everyone.

You should play this if…

You’re willing to wade through some duds to find some interactive stories that really grab you. Luckily, Episode is pretty generous with the keys you need to unlock new chapters, and you can read the first chapter of any story for free (without using keys, that is – the stories aren’t pay-to-read) to see whether or not it’s your style.
