Kissing Time tries to make a fun game by making the player change through various genders and various sexualities, kissing the ‘appropriate’ people that flash on screen and avoiding the inappropriate. I get what it was trying to do, but the whole mechanic just felt kind of strange to me. Gay women don’t want to kiss every single woman just because she is a woman, gay men don’t want to kiss all men, straight people don’t want to kiss every person of the opposite gender, and bisexuals definitely don’t want to kiss all people. I see that it’s a simplified thematic thing, but I didn’t love the execution.

You’re looking for a fun little game that tests your reflexes, I guess? The game tries to make a point about forcing people to be something they’re not and not judging others, but it was lost on me.
