Jess' Queer Games Journey

Dream Boyfriend: Astral Days

A frowning gender ambiguous person. A photo of a masc looking person with their eyes shut. Text reads 'Max Kiss Gauge opens Kiss Mode' and 'Careful, the kiss gauge will decrease over time.' and 'Tap, tap, tap to boost his affection.'.

Mass Effect: Andromeda

A femme person facing a femme looking alien humanoid.

Romance Detective

A femme looking police officer and a femme looking person in a coat and hat standing in an art gallery. Dialogue reads 'Badges are superficial. They are unnecessary. I solve crimes of passion.'.

I would have been enthusiastic to play any game about solving crimes, but one with lesbian main characters? Heck yeah I was excited. Having female protagonists is a bonus in itself, but when you add the romance element, it just becomes even better.
